For some functions and features of the Services, your location will be needed. In the production and provision or the Services, we use technology that uses Bluetooth and GPS to enable location of individual users.
Your location can be determined only when you use the Services, or when they are otherwise active on your device. We always ask for your separate consent when you begin using the Neste Mobile app, or when you visit our website for the first time.
Locating a customer enables, for example, targeted additional services, features or offers to be displayed to the customer. Through their use of the Neste Mobile App, customers may receive benefits and advertising from Neste or Neste affiliates that are located near the customer.
Some technologies we use may allow an individual mobile device or person and their location to be identified. In such cases, the purpose of processing location data is primarily related to precisely locating an individual user of the Neste Mobile app.
Among the features that such positioning allows is displaying targeted offers to the user, and enabling them to use certain features of the Services. We are entitled to store any data gathered with the aid of identification as part of other customer-related data that we save and retain.
However, if you do not want us to save your location data, you may want to change the settings on your mobile device or of the Neste Mobile app, or to turn off some features you use on your device. If you block location data from being stored, you might not be able to make full use of the Services offered by Neste or their features.
