I do not see my vehicle in the list of approved engines, can I still refuel Neste MY Renewable Diesel?
Yes! If your engine manufacturer has not approved your model for Neste MY Renewable Diesel, this does not mean that you need to refrain from fueling with Neste MY. If a vehicle still under the manufacturer warranty encounters a problem that can be definitively traced to the fuel, there is a risk that the warranty coverage might be denied if you have used a fuel that is not approved by the manufacturer. However, every OEM requires use of fuel that meets the ASTM D975 standard, and Neste MY Renewable Diesel is a D975 compliant chemical copy of fossil diesel, and therefore works in all diesel vehicles. Neste has had no complaints or issues from customers or OEMs.
I have an older diesel vehicle, (where the new car warranty no longer applies), is it a good idea to fuel with Neste MY Renewable Diesel?
Yes absolutely! Neste MY is almost chemically identical to fossil diesel and therefore will work in all diesel engines.
